Hi everyone. Hope you've had a good day. Mine has been ok until about an hour ago when I got horrendous indigestion. Anyway, here's my update for this week on Celtic Autumn.
I worked on the cream/beige shawl at the back of her dress. The very same shade of cream I spent hours stitching with last night on Spring Ride lol. Next week I'm going to attempt the gold metallic. I decided on the Treasure Braid in the end and I do have some Thread Heaven so you shouldn't hear too much swearing next Monday evening!
Right, off to hit the Gaviscon bottle now before bed.

Hello, ladies!! Please forgive me for using a post as a general comment. Everybody's Celtic Ladies are looking lovely. My Celtic Summer hasn't had a single stitch put in since my last update. I have a feeling that it's going to be a bit dodgy stitching wise until the computer conversion at my workplace is over the 1st of January. So, please know that I'm following everybody else's progress and have really been enjoying seeing what has been done.
Hugs,
Valerie

I'm afraid that I didn't get around to stitching on my lady on Monday, I did it yesterday instead. I spent quite a bit of time on her although I don't think it looks as if I have made very much progress. I did have to frog a fair amount as I discovered that I'd used the wrong colour, aaaarrrrrrgh! Oh well I hope next week will see a lot more added to her.

I did it! I actually got to stitch on her today and not just a short session either. I got in FIVE hours! I am amazed lol. Three this afternoon and another two tonight after Riley went to bed. So, without further ado, here she is:
Can I ask all you other ladies what metallic thread you are using? I was going to use the Petite Treasure Braid but I heard some bad reports on it just recently so now I'm not sure. Can anyone suggest any alternatives that are easy(ish) to use?
I'm looking forward to seeing all the other ladies updates :o) I just noticed Sureina has already updated so I'm off to take a look.

Once again I missed out on sal night, but I plan on getting my sal night stitching done tonight as I've nothing else planned. An as I'm off work tomorrow I will have time to post some pics of my Celtic Autumn so far. It's not much but I'm liking what I've done of her up to now.
Happy Stitching everyone.....

Sorry everyone - I've been trying to get something finished up and haven't gotten to my Celtic Autumn in a few weeks. I'm going to get back on schedule next week for sure though! All of your lady's are looking beautiful!
