A slow week... (updated with pic)

Another slow week. I was so eager there for awhile, but my attention has drifted. I guess that's why I have so many WIPs right??? Still, I got some beading done in the middle, where I know Q-snaps will never touch. It was the red beads, which made me happy to put on. I know there is not much left to do in the stitching. I promise myself I'll get on it soon and really stitch away.

After all, Celtic Spring is kitted and calling....

Crazy week

I really didnt get much done this week. It's just been a crazy week. I'm working on the bottom part where there are tons of color changes so that has my eyes twitching.

More Celtic Christmas

Here's this weeks progress on Celtic Christmas. I didn't get as much done on Monday as I would have liked so I did a bit more yesterday. I have my parents staying from today until next Tuesday so I won't be able to SAL on Monday will have to do it on Tuesday after they've gone.

Dieflyn's Celtic Autumn

Not going to say much cause I'm tired (and grumpy because I'm tired), but for once I actually got to stitch on her on the correct day.

The gaps will be filled in with needlepaints 2003 which is on order from Sewandso but currently out of stock.

Just a reminder, I'm doing Celtic Autumn in the original colours, and you can see a larger version of the picture in my gallery here.

Karens Update

Hi everyone. Hope you've had a good day. Mine has been ok until about an hour ago when I got horrendous indigestion. Anyway, here's my update for this week on Celtic Autumn.

I worked on the cream/beige shawl at the back of her dress. The very same shade of cream I spent hours stitching with last night on Spring Ride lol. Next week I'm going to attempt the gold metallic. I decided on the Treasure Braid in the end and I do have some Thread Heaven so you shouldn't hear too much swearing next Monday evening!

Right, off to hit the Gaviscon bottle now before bed.

Greetings from the missing stitcher!

Hello, ladies!! Please forgive me for using a post as a general comment. Everybody's Celtic Ladies are looking lovely. My Celtic Summer hasn't had a single stitch put in since my last update. I have a feeling that it's going to be a bit dodgy stitching wise until the computer conversion at my workplace is over the 1st of January. So, please know that I'm following everybody else's progress and have really been enjoying seeing what has been done.

Hugs,
Valerie

Celtic Christmas, too, but not in blue...

OK, just trying to be funny, maybe it's the Pepsi...

Here's my sad little progress for this week. It's going slow. It should be quicker, but I'm feeling a bit tired with all the schoolwork and I'm strung out on a bunch of projects. It's also been pretty dreary lately, the downside to Oregon is rainy days. Ah well, anything is better than nothing.

I have been waiting for the red beads to come in at my local LNS. Maybe once I have those in hand, I'll feel a little more motivated, knowing I have everything I need to complete this project.

This Weeks Celtic Christmas

I'm afraid that I didn't get around to stitching on my lady on Monday, I did it yesterday instead. I spent quite a bit of time on her although I don't think it looks as if I have made very much progress. I did have to frog a fair amount as I discovered that I'd used the wrong colour, aaaarrrrrrgh! Oh well I hope next week will see a lot more added to her.

Karen's Celtic Autumn

I did it! I actually got to stitch on her today and not just a short session either. I got in FIVE hours! I am amazed lol. Three this afternoon and another two tonight after Riley went to bed. So, without further ado, here she is:

Can I ask all you other ladies what metallic thread you are using? I was going to use the Petite Treasure Braid but I heard some bad reports on it just recently so now I'm not sure. Can anyone suggest any alternatives that are easy(ish) to use?

I'm looking forward to seeing all the other ladies updates :o) I just noticed Sureina has already updated so I'm off to take a look.

She's growing

I'm truckin along with my lady. After this one i want to do the winter one. Then Christmas. Then i guess spring then summer then i'm done lol

New Sleeve

All i did this week was change my ladies sleeve from green to the autumn oranges. I have to say i love it this way. This pattern really has been a joy to work on. I've never done a Lavender and Lace pattern before but now i think i'm addicted.

I didn't get any stitching done either!

Sorry everyone - I've been trying to get something finished up and haven't gotten to my Celtic Autumn in a few weeks. I'm going to get back on schedule next week for sure though! All of your lady's are looking beautiful!

Celtic Christmas Progress

I'm afraid that I didn't do any stitching on my Celtic Christmas last week as I was busy fiinishing off another design. (See here for details if you're interested.) To make up for it though I stitched this Monday and yesterday. I finished off the sleeve and bodice and have now moved down to the skirt of the dress.

More progress...

Sorry I didn't post last week ladies, it was a busy Monday night and I barely got any stitches in on my gal at all. Managed to get some in this week and this is where I'm at. I really desperately wanted to get those letters started because then things would really look different. (I'm also sorry the pic is not so great!)
