Hello Ladies -

My name is Chari and I live in Kansas City, MO.  My mother taught me to cross stitch many years ago and I have been an avid stitcher since college.  I have 4 daughters, Codi (10), Baileigh (8), Katelyn (7) and Brenna (4).  Cross stitching is my therapy (I need a lot of "therapy" with all those girls!)  My favorite artist for the past 10 years has been Marilyn.  I completed one of her projects for each of my girls.  Each started right before the girls were born.  And now am working on the Celtic Ladies.  I've been very surprised at how quick of a stitch they have been.  I will have to get back to the store and buy more linen and a new pattern for our upcoming vacation because I'm not beading on the plane!  These are my most recent pictures.  Since then, all of the stitching has been completed and a good deal of the beading.  Happy stitching all!

Hi Chari, she's beautiful! You've done a great job on her. You must be used to stitching large projects if you think she's a quick stitch. I thought my Autumn took a lifetime! lol

Little Cat - I generally do the bigger projects. Finished The Wedding right before starting on the spring celtic lady. But I'd worked off and on for over a year on the wedding. There is only so much white and ecru that I can stitch before going batty! The beadwork might take me awhile. It doesn't seem to go as quickly as the stitching does.

Hello Chari,
Beautiful stitching and beautiful colors! Did this chart call for Needlepaints or DMC?

Katya -

This one had only DMC colors. Boy was I surprised when I got the pattern for the Summer Celtic Lady and it called for Needlepaints. I am doing her in greens and yellows. I need to get busy and take pictures so that I can post of my progress on that project.
