To your question Rachel I do as much as I can with one colour, then add the next bit to that colour. Although on this I did a whole lot of the gold as the other colours fit all around it. For the square designs at the side I did each section but still haven't done the beads. I think I may leave those till the last.

Are you using the needlepaints? I can't tell from your pictures. I have stitched quite a bit of the skirt of Summer and am still not sure that I like how it is turning out. I found a yellow/green conversion and am not for sure about the green.

I've only stitched Celtic Christmas of these ladies (twice, in 2 different colour schemes) and I found it much easier to add the border beads as I went.
Usually I bead at the end but this was different.

Microsoft Office 2007 is light years ahead of 2003 in all regards. Navigating through the programs takes some getting used to, but is office 2007 far more intuitive than older versions and actually makes editing, etc. far easier and quicker.
